Announcements May 4 | 3rd Sunday of Easter

Today there is Mass in Sykkylven at 5:00 pm.

• Monday to Friday Mass at 6:00 pm.
• Wednesday rosary at 5:30 pm.
• Thursday adoration at 5:30 pm.
• Friday adoration after Mass, followed by a meeting at Stella Maris.
• Saturday baptism at 2:00 pm and wedding at 3:00 pm. Note: There will be no Mass in Hareid.
• Sunday Mass in Polish at 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, High Mass at 11:00 am, and Mass in English at 4:00 pm.

This Wednesday, the conclave begins in Rome, during which a new pope will be elected. We especially pray for the cardinals during this important time.

As you can see, 24 children making their First Communion received two sacraments yesterday and today: their first confession and their first Holy Communion. Special thanks to Patricia and Milla, who prepared the children for these two sacraments. We also sincerely thank the parents who accompanied their children throughout the preparation period. The week following the First Holy Communion is called White Week. We encourage parents and children to come to the church this week to receive Jesus through Holy Communion.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to preparing the church for this special day by cleaning, decorating, serving as altar servers, and through sacristan duties!
